Back to School... Back to Blogging

So... I kindof took a little break from blogging, and somewhat crafting in general to have a great summer. Just this part Tuesday I started school again, so I'm going to try getting back into the groove of things, including crafting and also some thrifting here and there, and maybe even a giveaway or two? But first I guess I should make something to give away lol. Right now I'm trying to pick out something to make out of this interesting blue swirl fabric I found at a rummage sale, about 3 yards for $2.50, I think yes!

Easter Egg Dying

So as we all know, Easter is tomorrow. In my family, we mostly dye our eggs on Saturday, and then hunt for them on Sunday morning before we head off to church.This year we did the same, and we just finished dying them. We used a neat technique that my mom found in this months issue of Family Fun. You can find it here. Everyone had a wonderful time with the decorating, and can't wait to find them tomorrow.
